As she described her artwork, Jasmine shared, “Ang mangingisdang nakatayo sa bangka ay sumisimbolo sa tapang at kabuhayan ng mga Pilipinong araw-araw na umaasa sa ating karagatan. Ang watawat ng Pilipinas ay paalala na ang West Philippine Sea ay bahagi ng ating bansa at dapat nating ipaglaban.”
